Yoga, Ayurveda, Telehealth
& Additional Therapies
Jacqui has been intensively studying and exploring many aspects of natural lifestyle, healing and personal growth since beginning her yoga and mediation training in 1993 at the age of 16. She is able to bring this wealth of personal practice and experience when working together with clients to improve their wellbeing through behavior and lifestyle changes, rooted in the ancient wisdom of Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda.
Jacqui regularly offers patient education to help optimize daily habits of sleeping, eating, breathing, and movement specifically tailored to their unique constitution, stage of life, and natural circadian rhythms.
Ayurvedic self-care practices, specific yoga asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing) patterns, and sacred sounds (mantras) are often part of a treatment plan. Many of Jacqui's clients who have suffered injuries, or would like to safely join a group yoga or fitness class consult her to assist them in finding appropriate modifications for their practice.
Telehealth/ Distance Healing Facilitation
During the Covid 19 Pandemic Shutdown - Jacqui began offering wellness consultations and healing sessions remotely- via telephone or video chat using secure platforms. It proved to be a very effective and supportive option for clients during that stressful time, so in addition to offering in person sessions, she is continuing to offer a telehealth option for clients that are unable/prefer to work remotely.
During a typical telehealth session, Jacqui is able to discuss your current health concerns and make recommendations.
She also offers personalized guided meditation, and utilizes a specialized mind-body awareness therapy she was trained in by her mentor Suzanne Scurlock. This type of distance healing facilitation is extremely helpful and effective and many clients express how much more relaxed and at ease they feel in their bodies by the end of a session.

Cold Laser Therapy/Infrared Heat Lamp Therapy
Jacqui uses a cutting edge cold laser as a support therapy, or in some cases, in leu of needles to treat meridians/acupoints for needle sensitive clients. A heat lamp is placed over specific areas of the body and provide gentle but deeply penetrating warmth. Both therapies increase circulation and promote cellular healing, and are often used while the client is resting with the needles in or while receiving body work.
